µTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. µTorrent was designed to use as little cpu, space and memory as possible while offering all the functionalites expected from advanced clients. Changes in µTorrent Version 1.8 alpha (build 7834), 2008-01-15:
- Change: do not display remaining bytes if 0
- Fix: Pressing the associate buttons in the preferences window would get .torrent and .btsearch extensions mixed up in web browsers
- Fix: UPnP would unmap after 20 minutes instead of re-mapping
- Fix: Wrong path put in run in startup entry when installing
Changes in µTorrent Version 1.7.6 (build 7859), 2008-01-15:
- Change: do not use adapter subnet to identify local peers
- Fix: double-clicking to open items in RSS releases tab
- Fix: remote crash bug (affects all 1.6.x, 1.7.x, and 1.8 builds released to date)
- Fix: limit local peers if disk is congested
Be warned, this is an alpha, not a beta, so bugs are to be expected, and it is not to be considered feature complete. Don't test this on private trackers without explicit permission from staff, if you value your account. Please test and report bugs/crashes/etc. Thanks.
