Timofey Korolyov has announced the availability of the first release candidate for
Trustverse Desktop 4.0, a Fedora-based Linux distribution (formerly known as Linux XP) with a GNOME desktop tweaked to resemble Windows XP: "
We are happy to announce Trustverse Linux Desktop 4.0 Release Candidate 1. The graphical interface of the system is quite functional and comparable with Microsoft Windows. Panels organization, menu functions, special adjustments of Nautilus file manager will make your work comfortable and effective. You can turn on 3D desktop, with various graphic effects which will make your desktop unique. Management of all basic functions is accessible in the uniform control panel. Settings utilities have intuitively clear interface and many utilities have interfaces that are close to those in Windows." See the
release announcement and
release notes for further information and screenshots.
